A field trip to the farm

Our 4th, 5th and 6th class pupils were fortunate to have the opportunity to visit the farm of Denis and Colette O'Donovan in Glandore recently, where they learned about milk production, calving, sustainability, milk quality, cattle breeds, food production and many other aspects. Huge thanks to Denis and Colette, to Lisavaird Co-Op and Carbery for the snacks and goodies, to Eleanor, Nicole, Peter and Cillian for making it such a memorable visit!
